This dwarf citrus has been grafted on to a dwarfing root stock which produces a tree of about half the size of normal citrus. The Washington Navel is the most popular backyard orange grown in Australia. It is a small to medium sized tree that produces oranges ripening in mid winter. Oranges are medium to large, (depending on the quantity of fruit set), and very sweet and juicy. Skin is relatively easy to peel and being a navel, the fruit is seedless
